2. Service Description

Roundtrip is a trusted network for software developers to exchange workspaces. We provide a platform for verified tech professionals to list their homes, connect with peers, and arrange temporary home swaps for remote work opportunities.

3. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your property and work amenities
• Maintain only one listing per account
• Respect other users' homes during swaps
• Communicate honestly and transparently
• Not use the platform for commercial rental purposes
• Report any safety concerns or violations
• Comply with local laws and regulations

4. Verification

All users must verify their identity through LinkedIn to ensure they are genuine tech professionals. GitHub verification is optional but enhances your profile. We reserve the right to request additional verification or reject accounts that don't meet our community standards.

5. Liability

Roundtrip acts as a platform only. We are not responsible for damages, losses, or disputes arising from home swaps. Users participate at their own risk.

6. Subscription & Payments

Premium features including messaging, City Intel, and unlimited connections require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are:

• Billed monthly via Stripe
• Auto-renewed unless cancelled
• Cancellable anytime (access continues until period ends)
• Non-refundable unless required by law

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Create multiple accounts
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Use the platform for commercial rentals
• Harass, spam, or abuse other users
• Scrape or collect user data
• Circumvent verification requirements

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior harmful to the community. You may delete your account at any time through account settings.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain rights to content you post. By posting, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content as part of the service. You may not use our trademarks without permission.

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between users should be resolved directly. Roundtrip may provide mediation assistance but is not obligated to do so. Legal disputes with Roundtrip will be resolved through arbitration.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.
